Represented Ningde Times vs. Jiangsu Tafel New Energy in the invalidation case of utility model patent related to "explosion-proof device"

Acting as an agent in the case of invalidation of utility model patent involving "explosion-proof device" of Ningde Times VS Jiangsu Tafel New Energy (selected as one of the top ten cases of invalidation of patent reexamination by China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2021);

• Jiangsu Tafel New Energy has filed multiple invalidation requests against Ningde Times' patents such as "explosion-proof devices" between April and June 2020. Our legal team represented CATL and conducted in-depth research on the background technology of the battery field and the invention concept of the involved patent. We demonstrated the creativity of this patent from multiple aspects such as the correlation between distinguishing features and the technical problems actually solved by the patent. Finally, in July 2021, we obtained a decision to maintain the validity of all patent rights, helping our clients maintain their market position in the battery field.
