Represented Ningde New Energy vs. Zhuhai Guanyu involved in the invalidation case of the invention patent for "an electrode sheet and a lithium-ion battery containing the electrode sheet"

Acting as the agent of Ningde New Energy VS Zhuhai Guanyu in the case of invalid invention patent of "one electrode sheet and lithium ion battery containing this electrode sheet" (selected as one of the top ten cases of invalid patent reexamination by China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2022);

• The patent holder Ningde New Energy and the invalidation requester Zhuhai Guanyu Company in this case are both leading companies in the global shipment volume of lithium batteries. Our legal team represented Ningde New Energy and proposed that for multiple technical features considered as a whole, we should objectively identify the technical problems actually solved by the invention based on the records of related technical features, their functions, and effects in the specification. We successfully convinced the panel to accept our viewpoint and maintain the validity of the patent right on the basis of the modified text submitted by the patentee.
